Rooms & Suites
Each unique suite or room is on the second floor and requires walking up a flight of stairs. There are three steps (with railing) to enter either front door, three steps from the dining room to the screened porch, and three steps from the dining room to the back yard.
Each suite or room has a private bath with shower. The Lavender Suite has a full-sized tub. All rooms have closets except for the Propeller Room which, in keeping with its airline travel theme, has hooks on which to hang garments. Suite and room rates are based on double occupancy. Fees for additional guests may apply.
The Texas Suite
At a little over 557 square feet, the Texas Suite boasts the history of the owner’s time in a state where everything is considered “bigger.” A hand-carved king-sized bed, with nautical colors that reflect the Texas coast, greet you as you enter this beautiful suite. Within the bedroom area is a cozy loveseat, antique dresser with mirror, and two walk-in closets. Need to work a little during your trip? An inviting chair and desk are positioned to help you be productive — or just observe the wildlife peeking out of the back woods. The most stunning feature is through the French doors to the spacious sitting room overlooking the yard, gardens, and woods. Lounge on the couch (which converts to a full-sized bed) or take in a late-night movie on the large screen television. This suite offers a microwave and small private refrigerator. It’s the best spot in the house to wind down at the end of a busy day.

The Propeller Room
Explore 255 sq. ft. of charm in a room designed to help you dream of faraway places on a queen-sized bed. From the stacked suitcase nightstands to the Moroccan rug and cozy seating area, you’ll feel like you’re on an exotic journey. This room has two entrances and can be accessed from either staircase.

The Cottage Room
Need to make the world go away for a while? Consider this 232 sq. ft. hidden gem overlooking the gardens and bountiful trees on the property. Discover the sense of bringing the outside in with soft green hues on the queen-sized bed under a slanted roof. Sink into the cream-colored loveseat to reflect on the abundant garden and natural wildlife.

The Lavender Suite
Exhale as you step into this 320 sq. ft. corner suite, located at the front of the property with views of the Yerkes Observatory property. A private doorway takes you to your bedroom retreat where a queen-sized bed of purple and lavender hues awaits. A private bath with shower and tub offers an invigorating start to your day or a slow soak before bed. With an airy sitting area, you can curl up with a good book or just watch the world go by. The couch converts to a twin-sized bed for children or an extra guest.
